I said there is no reason why they can't drop valuable loot, but dropping unique loot of extremely high value such as these is ********. don't forget: they dropped it to their friends from 0.0. 
Yeah that's the only annoying thing. If you're going to drop extremely valuable items in an event its probably not wise to go to PL's home system and drop it to PL exclusively... Sortof like going to VFK and having an event there....
Personally as long as those monocles can't shoot me its not really a big deal for me but dev's should probably be a little smarter giving out free stuff to their friends, already a few thread naughts about this going on with Blinks. |

I really don't know why anyone is surprised. The bulk of CCP's devs come from the null sec monoliths, so where do except them to give out most toys. That being said, CCP did run some high sec stuff recently, but if I remember correctly, the fights there were still dominated by null sec entities that showed up in force.
Yeah I'm not saying anything inappropriate happened. But yeah it would have been suicide to go and try to loot anything, let alone kill anyone lol.
